    11/30 springs night ride.

Well fellas it's that time of week again. Figured it's time to pick a location for a night ride.

Shortbus and I spoke about a meet at rudys and ride up to the top of the Palmer trail and down section 16 and back down threw redrocks. Does this idea work for others or any other input is welcome.

Figure normal 6pm meet up time. Might get to play in the snow that night as well, if the weather guessers are right.

I like how everything in that picture is out of focus except the beer in your hands.

Also tried some Isolation Ale from Odells per Jaydudes recommendation/approval in another thread. Good also.

This is true. Are you still enjoying big boy wheels with squishiness for the back?

Yes, I'm a big fan. It did very well on that extended jaunt we took last Sunday. At this point, I don't think I would go for anything "bigger" than an all mountain bike 29er though. There is the whole "rubbing the shorts on the tire" thing on Improv-like lines that I'm not a huge fan of.

I do need a new helmet after Sunday though...

Wow good thing I did not go on that ride with all that crashing. So does that mean you will be wearing DH helmet?

Yeah, that was kinda a crash ride. I did a perfect OTB and honestly I'm not really sure now I landed. All I know is that I rolled and I have damage to the top of my helmet, and feel like I have a bruise on my lower back so I might have landed on my head and then rolled onto my Camelbak. In defense of the Shinobi, I don't know that I could have rolled that line on the Knolly either--it all happend pretty fast since I was following Paul.

I've inspected the helmet and I think it should be OK for another ride or three, but I'm definitely going to replace it in the short term.

Well good thing you are not too beat up. I have learned that following some " Paul lines" is bad for me. He can pull off stuff I would eat it hard on.

Lol, you guys keep talking about crashing and downhill, which was definitely fun, but when i think back all I remember was climbing! We climbed, columbine, buckhorn, a lesser known trail to saint mary's, then finished it off with palmer trail... Oh and almost forgot that steep climb back into red rocks!
    Epic day gents.

I was just working there, and man they do have quite the operation. It's like a beer mecca, for as much beer as they sell across the U.S. you would expect for it to be more industrial and warehouse like, when in fact it's more like a brewery crossed with a ski lodge. It's a very nice place were everyone seems hoppy.

Very cool! I've heard that on an employee's 1-year anniversary, they get one of the fat tire cruisers. I've also heard it's a very cool place to work, employee-owned I think.

Colorado is the #1 producer of beer in the US!

Yeah, they are saying this is going to be the last nice day for a while. I'm kinda stoked about some snow riding though so I won't complain.

Yes agreed, I had a good time last night minus my extra climbing and head scratching wondering where the group went.
It was much warmer last night then when I took the dogs out this morning.
