11/07/2007... and still riding in SUMMIT!!

i can't remember the last time i did this! the last week has been full of blue sky and sun. after 10am the temps are up and it is good to go. granted, there is snow higher up and on northern aspects but, seriously! all my riding this time of year is typically elsewhere. enjoying it while i can before kathy sabine forecasts the big one.
    Q. how many kids with A.D.D. does it take to change a light bulb?
    A. i don't know, ya wanna go ride bikes?

Thanks for the update. I'm going to be up there this weekend, are the trails around town good to go? Moonstone, Barney Ford,Flume Trails, Blair Witch, Peaks Trail?

I'm hoping that when the snow comes, it piles up quick, stays cold and gives us a nice stable early season snowpack in the BC. Meanwhile I'm digging the weather.

Yeah, she's hot, and so is the weather.

I like it dry... I may just just hit up some Summit singletrack soon.

you know, with Global warming and all, there are two positive points that we can take from all this:

Summit county will have more biking throughout the year
All the snow freaks will move out of here, leaving us with less people on the trails and illegal immigrants!

Re-direct to topic. I'm going up to Summit Cnty for the T-day holiday and have been bummed that bikes might be taken instead of touring skis. O well it's all fun in the sun I guess. At least the crowds are down.

I think Dayle Cedars is much cuter.

If you like em with a little chunk in the trunk there is always Shaul Turner

I passed her once on the trail. She was on horseback.
Mmmmmm... Nothing sexier than a set of juicy thunder thighs squeezing tooled leather and a big hairy beast between them.

that's because she is pregnant. it was only a one night stand. we were drunk

    check out this article...

    http://summitdaily.com/article/20071...11/0/FRONTPAGE

looks like i better get some new cold-weather gear for riding the bike. i am both happy and sad with the current weather situation for obvious reasons...

if the younger segment of a certain two-edged snow-sliding sport started disappearing from summit county i wouldn't mind. i would see less underwear. it strikes me as odd when someone needs to alter the way they walk just to keep their damn pants from being around their ankles... which is where they almost are anyway

At least we all bike and can keep ourselve entertained riding during the winter if the snow doesn't accomodate.

Think of the poor souls who only have winter sports as their form of entertainment...

Of course, they probably all suck anyways...

Leave it to my wife to ruin my fascination with Kathy Sabine. My wife seems to think she has freakishly long arms. The next time you see her doing the forecast out in the '9 backyard' notice how she has high water sleeves. It is kind of weird. Not sure how being preggers has affected the cuff rise. You'd think making the kind of $$ she does she could afford to get her sleeves altered.

Okay, back to my Anne Trujillo/Dayle Cedars watching ....
