I am trying to get out in the sun and ride this afternoon, but if work keeps me tied to the desk, I might join you tonight. Post up plans and I'll RSVP if I can come. Be aware I have not touched a bike in several weeks.

Long time since I rode Coyote.... Sounds good.

Can we make it a 6:15 pm start at the Coyote parking lot? I do have meetings untli 5 and decided to bike commute today.

Highly unlikely. 32 deg by 5pm and dropping. I'll be more worried about ice

hmm, an hour+ round trip, ice and sub 25 degree temps.

Too much driving to be that miserable... plus I rode in the sunlight.

    Post up some trail pics

Hope you had fun. I got a pavement / sun ride in. Was already getting chilly by 3:30, so I would have frozen tonight.

Is there enough snow to support an afternoon ride today, or is mud a possibiility?

There was a layer of compressed snow forming a single track. I'd assume that to turn a bit slushy. Off that track the snow is 4-5" deep. Bring the big tires!

what klaus said...but I think the hill on rimrock climbing west may be muddy since there was dirt showing + lots of snow.
