I am a 6'5" 230# clyde looking to get a SC Bullit in the coming months. I want to do aggressive all mountain with a taste of fr/dh. I do NOT care about weight. I have not enjoyed constantly breaking and repairing my xc bikes.
I am looking to get the R fr component package over the R am because it is stronger.
My question lies with fork and shock options given my ideal weight is a jacked and lean 245#. Do I need the DHX5 air over the vanilla rc for trail/all mountain? And which is stiffer the Totem RC2 DH taper (SA or Coil) or the Boxxer R2C2?
I am attracted to the adjustability of air because my weight regularly fluctuates +/- 10lbs, and I have no experience with coil.
