I am 6' 4'' or so and where a size 13 to 14 shoe (US). I want to get some biking shoes for my Shimano M505 ATB pedals. I also want to keep the price under $100. Any suggestions?

I had great luck with them. They have a few pairs for under $100. The MX90's I have only set me back $80.

I've got a size 14 and have been using Performance brand shoes for over a year. Definitely not top of the line, but all in all, I've been very happy with them. I think I paid about $40 for them.

Size 49 Sidi is in this size range

You may have a hard time finding a new pair in the $100 price range, however.

I wear the same size as you (13.5 is ideal for me) and have Shimano SH-M 038 mtb shoes. These fit me better than any previous shoes I've tried. They are wide enough in the toe box, which was always an issue with others I've owned. Nothing fancy, just functional and not too gaudy or goofy IMHO. And they were about $80.

I like the Specialized shoes - They have good deals on their site as well.

The Cannondale Roam has been a good seller for us and we stock both 13 & 14. It is also an American cut (wider) and a pretty good price at $70

    bigger is not always better

Im 6'5" and I wear a 15W or 16. Anybody got links or info for shoes that big? Im just curious, since i may end up wanting shoes by the end of the year. Until then Vans sneakers work great.

I'm the same size as you, you gotta get SIDI's or Lake's - that's it. I have both, the sidi's are brilliant to ride in but you can't walk in them, and the lake's are ok, but you can walk in them. That's about it.

I'm a 13 and the only SPD shoes that fit me reliably are the mid-priced Shimanos. For flats I really love the 5.10s.

If you can take the hit to $119, lickbike.com always has a good selection of Sidi's, which all go up to 50s (which I think is a 16?). They will match any other prices if you find them on sale, and they have great customer service. They also have sales on odd sizes sometimes, and the big ones are usually left for sale.
