    Setback Seatpost

    I had a quick question about setback seatposts. Does it make any difference whether the actual setback is at the seatclamp, or in the post itself?

    The only difference I can think of is does your seatpost stick up high enough to clear the bend in the seatpost (on an offset post like the Thomson).

    don't see where it realy matters (outside of the clearing the bend as mentioned) that being said I realy like the Thompson clamp
