    Seat posts

What is the strongest seat post or stem? I need one in 400mm or longer.

Buy a 410mm Thompson and never worry about a broken or bent seatpost again. The best made...hands down.

    Thompson it is

Cool that is what I thought but I have never had one before. I will order one from my LBS today, thanks.

I'm 215# and I've been riding on the same Thompson for the last 5 years. It's been a great post and I'd buy another if it ever breaks.

    Good luck

    Have one that

is close to ten years old. Still has the Patent Pening note on it. Never had a problem. Replaced bolts, washera and t-nuts once as a pre-caution. The were a little corroded after a Michigan winter of commuting.
