    SDG I-Beam

I just wanted to post that I love my SDG I-beam. I am 6'9" and 300lb and wear out bikes in a big way.

I bought a specialized HR comp a few years back and tore the cranks off in one day, just with the torque. I now ride a Haro X7 and it can take a beating much better than the HR. The only problem was wearing out seats.

I wanted to let everyone know that I have been riding downhill/freeride for the last 3 years with an SDG I-beam seat and it still feels like the day I bought it. I love them and wanted to make sure all the bigger folk knew about them.

Good to know, thanks! I've looked at those before. If my current saddle doesn't live up to my expectations an I-Beam will be in my sights. I've had good luck with the over-sized 8mm rails on my WTB Power V though. It's lasted about a year so far, which is 4 times longer than my last several lasted. I wouldn't mind if the nose was a little shorter though...

    I'm about 270 and 6'4"
