i am same dimensions as you. just ordered WTB Pure V race saddle from pricepoint...$40 plus shipping. i bought based on reviews from different sites.....nothing from the Clydes forum though. tend to get overwhelmed with too many suggestions. if you havent already.....search this forum/ titles only.....for 'saddle'.....numerous past threads. good luck.
I bet you'd do the same if they was you!

The WTB Pure V and Laser V are good starting points. After a couple different WTB's I ended up loving the Devo and have it on all 3 of my bikes.

Got a Selle Anatomica Titanico X. Got about 3000 miles on it and it is the most comfortable saddle I've owned.

Check out Cobb Saddles also. They are supposed to be really good too but about $200.

Although I'm not as big as you, I ride a wtb volt team and it is an amazing saddle! By far the most comfortable, and lightest saddle I've owned. Another good part is you can pick between levels. Volt race being the cheapest at $60, the pro at $90, the team at $130, and finally the slt for $150. Great line of saddles with good pricepoints.

    Re: Saddle Suggestions

I am 280 and ride a pure v comp i picked up from nashbar for 21.00. It is the same as the other pure v but with steel rails. Cant beat the price. They run more sales on it.

Koobi SI Classic - 160mm wide at base. Seems to support my sitbones well.
