I weigh 250-260. I'm looking for a Remedy for AM with some drops 3-4 feet with transitions to land on. Hopefully I will lighten up this year. The question is if the rear shock will hold enough pressure that it doesn't bob all the time, bottom out while JRA or that it won't have 50% sag. I read some post about other shocks, some working, others not. I'm a coil fan and was wondering which ones DO work if the RP23 won't.
Also, in Treks catalog they say that the Remedy has 17" stays on the main page with Shandro. Yet in the specs they say 16.5" stays. I prefer the 17" though I know a lot of people won't. Can someone verify the actual length for me? Thanks again, Fahn
