    new clyde need help with wheels

    ok folks,i am currently riding an loosing weight..but I am I a delima.i ran across a good deal on some giant sxc2 wheels not knowing in different I didn't realize it was a 15mm thru axle,here were problem comes in,i have a motobecane 500ht an it ant except 15 mm thru axle on front..i knw they make adapters but don't know if I need 15 mm to 9 mm or 5 mm cause I don't know at size are standard on motobecane.the back wheel fits fine just need help with that.for ow but would like suggeston for different headset or stem s I don't have to be so hunched over thank in advance.

    The dropouts in your fork accept 9mm. That'll be the end cap. 5mm is the skewer that goes through it all.

    Take your bike to a shop that does fittings. They may be able to help. They will have an adjustable stem that they use when doing fittings. They might throw that on your bike and help you figure out a stem length/angle that works. Expect to pay for the service though but they might not charge you if you buy the new stem through them. Worth asking at least.

    What size is the bike? Looks like it comes with a 90 or 110mm stem depending on the size of the bike. You may need some combo of a shorter stem, more upward angle, and/or perhaps new handlebars with some rise. Your saddle could also be too far back or the bike is just too big. How tall are you?
