Need to replace stolen bike, not a lot of money

I'm 6'4", 370lbs. I want to start riding again, but my old bike was stolen. Unfortunately, I'm in a place where I don't have a lot of money right now. I used to have a Gary Fisher Marlin, and it worked pretty well for me, so I'm looking at Gary Fisher again.
I found a Trek 7.2 FX on Craigslist for $225, and the advertisement says that it worked well for a 6'5" rider. I'm worried about my weight though. Does anyone know if this bike will support me? If not, any recommendations for cheap but sturdy bikes?

Thank you for your help - I just discovered this forum, and it looks like it's exactly what I need!

If you can swing $600, try the Airborne website and look at their Guardian model. I am 6'4" and 250 and almost bought one. I decided to go up one model to their Seeker which comes with air fork. I looked for a while at used bikes and didn't find much. Only some low end old bikes for around $150. I decided they wouldn't last long for a big guy. I would also suggest letting local shops know you are looking for a used bike, they may direct someone your way.

Thanks for the reply! I'll check out the Guardian. Right now $600 is a bit much for me, but I can save up. Good idea about the local shops, too, I'll let them know.
    Thanks for your help!

Keep searching used for your best value.

The Trek 7.2 is a hybrid/city/commuter style and may not hold up well as a mountain bike. Would do okay as a paved and gravel path rider with the right tires.
