    Need advise please

I'm new to this forum and need some advice on a bike purchase. I'm 6 feet, 250 (time to work off some belly) and I'm considering buying a lightly used 2003 Kona Kikapu FS XC bike for 800.00. Is this enough bike for my saggy frame? ; - ) I ride a combo of urban and groomed trails and I'm looking for a sturdy all-arounder that will hold up. There are less than 300 miles on this bike, mostly urban. Specs on the 03 Kikapu:

Thanks much! I'm learning alot reading your posts.

Looks like a good bike -- all of the components are ~deore or better. The only weak links (which are typical of any bike in this price range):

ES30 bottom bracket (sealed, but low-end)
Shimano M475 hubs (front is fine, rear is unsealed and doesn't hold up to hard trail riding).

That said, you don't sound like you plan on bombing down technical trails so I think everything should hold up fine. If you do start to ride more rocky trails (at a brisk pace), then you'll probably want to upgrade those items listed above...
