    Mountain bike shoes

I ride my 29er to and from work for exercise and was wondering if anyone has tried these Keen Hydro h2 sandals for mountain biking ?

I use Adidas Supernovas. The white stuff provides cushion better than other shoes I've tried when lots of rocks would leave my soles numb.
Those Keens can work in some terrain.Mountain bike shoes-bb3462_01_standard.jpg

This is the current model with increased cushioning.

Fine for riding to the store or around the hood but I'd not wear them for anything more - same for the Supernovas.
I have Specialized mtb shoes for clipped in riding (mostly a road bike) and a pair of Adidas Terrex Trail Cross for flat pedal riding. Stiffer soles and more grippy soles make for a better ride.
