looking for suggestions and recommendation on new build

ok, im thinking of buying a Kona Hoss frame, and doing my first 5'10" 30 inch inseam and about 330lbs.
its a blank canvas. so who would put what on it that will hold up to some extreme trails and some 3-4 foot drops..
i know everyone is built different on reach and geometry, but im just looking for some good ideas. external bb, derailures etc...

If you want to do some heavy trail riding and drops, you will need some really strong wheelsets. Something along the all-mountain category. It all depends on what you want to spend, but it is usually better to buy a bike already built, as it is cheaper, and probably better suited to what you want to do with it.
