    I have a (clyde) dream...

We are in a major drought where I live and ride. Lately every ride I find branches I never noticed before are low enough I can't get under them. Some branches are just face slappers where I try to dodge it but keep riding. It is getting to where many of the branches now catch on my helmet and pull my head around or stop me completely. It is getting to be like a face mask penalty in football. I now make a point of stopping and clearing any branch I get hung on. It seems like the shorter riders in front of me are INTENTIONALLY looking for the low hanging branches to ride under. That way I get stopped and they can pull away.

My dream? To mount a chain saw on my camelbak so that it clears the low hanging branches as I ride thru. That way I could clear a trail and never have to stop. Anybody seen something like that?

Sounds like a good way to cut your head off in a wreck.
Just hike, or bike it with a handsaw and clear the branches when you come to them. It will take a while but you also get to keep your head.
