    I beam system/long setback

Dose anybody have experience with the SDG i beam system? I am looking for a way to get more than 25mm of setback on a seat post. from the web this system appears to provide the setback I'm looking for but at 300lbs not sure if I am too heavy for the i beam post and saddle. any help would be appreciated.

If you need more than an inch of setback you are on the wrong size frame

You could run a longer stem to allow you to shift forward over the bike, but that may mess up your knee position over the cranks.

The SDG system is very strong. That is primarily why a lot of downhill riders took to it. But at 300lb and full rearward position all bets are off. That is pretty much a worse-case scenario.
