    Great lecture

Interesting lecture on adiposity and obesity by writer Gary Taubes. A must for any clyde who seriously wants to get lean and fit! It's a full hour long.

    Interesting.....

Might try to cut the carbs a bit more,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Tried a higher protien balance before...weight comes off ....but I have very little energy after 2hours of riding........not sure how glycogen levels fit in with low carb diets

What does come over is the guys passion about what he is saying.

    Thanks for the link!

I am very familiar with Mr Taubes. I have been low carbing for several years and at the best had lost 100 plus pounds. I havd bounced back up almost 30 pounds but am now down ten. (Took some bad advice from a well meaning friend. My fault, fixing problem now)

Anyway, I will watch the link with great interest!
Remember when we were kids and our Mom's said we could not play in the mud? I'm making up for it now!!

Read The Paleo Diet for Athletes. It has helped me immensely.

Last week I did a 4.5 hr. ride with over 2,000 ft. of climbing. I ate a banana at 1.5 hrs. in and had no shortage of energy for the entire ride.
