    Giant on a Giant

Hello and thanks for reading my post.

I am 6'6" and 305 lbs. Time to get in shape! I have an old 1995 Giant Iguana with 22" frame. I pulled it out of storage and took it to the local bike shop and had new shifters and derailleurs front and back replaced, along with new cables.

Back in the day, I had a Rock Shox Mag 21 installed and it is probably beyond repairing. The only riding I plan on doing is to work and back and the occasional mild trail riding with my wife.

I am looking to get a new front shock, but don't know what size or what to get with a budget of about 200.00. Any suggestions?

If that is all you are considering, why not a ridge fork. More efficient.

Ebay. You can pick up a nice used rock shox Reba for around $200.00

Used is a lot cheaper but trying to find un-cut steer tube is hard.
Better off buying a new rigid fork, like Letsgo said, more efficient specially for the road and with in your budget.

+1 for new rigid fork. Salsa/Surly both offer a lot of good options that won't break the bank (and that you won't break).
