    Clyde-worthy race saddle?

My favorite mountain saddles right now are the Specialized Henge and the newer Phenom, but they don't seem to last more than 6 months without the rails starting to separate from the saddle lowers. I hate to think of the saddle as another use-and-discard component...suggestions for something durable? I take a 143mm, + or -, and prefer firm to padded. Thanks, y'all.

I really like the WTB speed V. But, I think it is kinda subjective. Try it out and see if the Speed V works for you.
