Clyde Ride Log Thread. Add Your Info!!!

I don't know if anybody is into this, but I thought I'd give it a go.

Anybody that wants to post their ride data and personal stats here should do so.

Whether it is Garmin data, Strava data, or just personal ride log info.

I'm gonna add my height, weight, bike and gear carried when I ride.

Also the type of riding that you do the most will be helpful.

It may help motivate others into riding more, or help someone with a little ride stoke if they are injured or can't get out to ride for whatever reason.

If you think of anything to add to the topic, please do so.

    Here Goes....................

    Status: Uber Clyde
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 308lbs
Bike: Chumba XCL 5" full squish 31lbs
Gear: Heavy camelback. About 10-15lbs avg
    Ride Type: XC/Aggressive XC

    Here is my GPS data..............

I like the Strava interface much better than the Garmin one so I use that the most. It's cool because you can compare your times against other people on sections of trail.

Here is my most recent ride which you can use as a portal to see my other Garmin data.......

So far this month I have ridden 15 times, and today is the 26th. Thats the most I have ever ridden.
My short term goal for the year was to do 1000 off road miles with 100,000 feet of climbing.
I've done almost 21,000' so far this month!!!!!
Since Jan 1st I have ridden 40 times off road with a total of 403 miles and 52,800' of climbing.
( Strava messed up my data because it missed one of my tracks from a ride, so the data there is skewed)
I only rode 3 times in Jan, 2 times in Feb and 2 times in May.
May was a busy month as I got married on the 14th and was running around like a crazy person.
After my wedding I had gained almost 15 lbs and was 329lbs.
Just since June I have lost 21lbs riding. I haven't really done anything different diet wise, but am going to start getting into that soon.
You may notice that most of my rides have about 30-50 minutes of stopped time. Thats usually us at the top enjoying a cold one....hahaha

    Pic of the bike..............

Nice work, you're really getting the days in! I'm lucky if I can get out 3 times a week. I wouldn't mind beating my total mileage from last year, which was 515 miles.

So far this season (started after ski season, middle of April) I'm at about 291 miles in 33 rides. I would have been closer to 300 after last nights ride if I didn't break another freehub...

    Height: 6'4"
    Weight: ~280
Bike: Specialized Pitch (not built to be light)
    Mostly aggressive XC riding.

    ...riding everyday

    Keep it up!

    Here's my story.
On January 1st, 2010 I told my wife "I'm going to ride my bicycle everyday for a year... no matter what!". My goal was to ride for 30 minutes minimum no matter where I was or what the weather was like. I called it No Excuses Campaign. I live in the High Desert of So Cal and had to deal with below freezing to 100+ temps, snow, hail, gale force winds... you get the picture. Today will be Day 571 NEC.
I recently purchased a Garmin 305 Forerunner and began logging some of my rides.
Here is one of my more basic rides:
and one of my longer rides: 20 min. delay waiting for a group at the trailhead:

    Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 230
Current rides: Diamondback Response Sport built up from my broke Jamis XLT. 5" Fox RLC forks, Hope mono front/rear 203mm/180mm 36 lbs she's a beast!
Nashbar 29'er 1X9 Rigid for the more relaxed/road/traveling rides. 30ish lbs.

Packs vary also but usually 1liter water, multi-tool, small pump and a tube... cell phone and SPOT emergency locator for safety.

I try to stay off the road as much as possible so rides vary from mellow road to fire road/two track to single track...Without going back and checking, I'd guess 85%-90% of my rides in the last 200 days have been off-road.

If you have FB and are intersted, here is my daily log:

    I am 6'2" 425 lbs.

I did have a Diamondback Wildwood Citi Classic for about 1 week. I just returned it to Sports Authority. At first they didn't want to take it back but, after I explained the manual says the max weight is 300, they had no choice but to take it back.

My goal is to ride the bike everyday with the family and add more distance as I build stamina and strength.

I have ridden a total of 10 miles so far about 1.5 miles each day for 6 days.

I am thinking of getting into a KHS alite 300 with an upgraded 36h cassette wheel per the recommendation of the LBS. Hopefully it is the right choice. I read several thoughts from people in the Clyde section, but i guess most of the post were from some time ago. Maybe you all here might have some thoughts on the right bike for me, or thoughts on the KHS alite 300 2011 model.
