Chubby Clyde Sick of Shorts..Wants Bibs

Well, hopping on and off the bike on the trail sometimes results in the ol' crack making an appearance. I am wanting to try something a little different, and see that many riders like bibs. I am 6'2" with a bit of a gut, and pretty thick thighs.

Anyone had any luck with bibs that aren't made for a 6'2" 180 lb stick? I am not trying to be a cheap a$$, so fee free to suggest anything.

+1 on these. I've had the same pair for 6 years now...might be time to put them on craigslist...I might even wash them....

A 280# clyde here....I bought a pair from Love2Pedal. I think the bibs are sized correctly but I needed to get a 5x jersey to fit like my baggy Nike jersey.

Dan, the owner, let me exchange my 3x for a 5x at no cost. He also hand writes a comment on invoices. Top notch service from them. "CLYD" should net you $5 off at checkout.

Performance Bike bibs have served me well, and they are half price this weekend. You cant beat the value in 35-40 dollar bibs. I am 6ft2 and 270ish and the xxl fit me well.

I use the performance brand too. I use these here Click Me and Click Me

Both work really good for me, I have/had a 40" waist and was wearing an XL to help them go over the shed. Both have really good chamois IMO. Plus as mentioned they are on sale until Sunday I just picked up two more for the year.
