Charge Cooker Hi vs Novara Intrepid

So I pretty much had my heart set on a Novara Intrepid and then I saw the Charge Cooker Hi. Both have very good component set-ups.....

    Novara Intrepid:
Frame: Steel - Reynolds 520 steel
Front suspension: Rock Shox Gold 80mm
    Crankset: SRAM S1000 GXP, 38/24
    Shifters: X7
    Front Derailleur: X7
    Rear Derailleur: X9
    Cassette: SRAM PG-1030, 11-36, 10-speed
    Brakes: Shimano BR-M505 Hydralic disc
Brake levers: Shimano BR M445 disc
    Tires: WTB, Nano Race, 29x2.1
    Charge Cooker Hi:

    Frame: Steel,Cro-mo
Front Suspension: RockShox Recon Silver, Solo Air, tapered, 100mm
    Crankset: Sram S1400, 39/26t
    Shifters: X7
    Front Derailleur: X5
    Rear Derailleur: X7
    Cassette: Sram PG 1030, 11-36t
    Brakes: Avid Elixir 5
    Brake levers: Avid Elixir 5
Tires: WTB Prowler SL Race 2.1
Just looking at both bikes, they seem to be very good and the components on each, to me seem very do-able. One seems to have the advantage and then the other has something that is just as good, if not better....from everything I've read, a steel bike would be great for me....6'3", 260 lbs.....I am just wondering if anyone else had any opinions about these bikes compared to one another????

Everything that's different about them, the Novara is better. Better fork, better derailleurs, better brakes. Much, much better brakes. I'd pay $1-200 more to get shimano brakes vs avid at almost any price point.

Unless the Charge is a lot cheaper, I'd get the Novara.
