    Can Big Boys go Ti??

    Hey all

    Im pushing close to 3 bills and I am wanting to use some Time XS carbon Ti's but am worried about breaking them. Thoughts, experiences, concerns???

    No. You are well beyond the weight limit. BigDoods can rock Ti products from time to time, but not those. I'm unaware of any Ti spindled pedals that are OK for us. 200# is the highest "recomended" limit for a Ti pedal I've seen. They are only 3.3 ounces lighter than the steel spindled one btw.

    Are the wheels roundish? Ride it.

    I just dropped an email to Time about their RXS Carbon Ti road pedals and they say there's no weight limit on the things and didn't express any concern about my using them at 260 lbs.

    ... I'm not convinced, but that's what they said

    They also said to send in a picture of the top of the pedals to make sure they're the latest version, if not, they would replace them for free (provided they're unused - which they are, the bike's getting built at the moment).

    ... which was nice.
    Due to a lack of interest, tomorrow has been canceled
