    Any Clydes riding a Yeti 575 ????

I'm 6'2" pushing 250 lbs. Ride mostly XC. Wheels don't leave the ground much at all. The ledges that I do are not over 24" and I nose over them.

Of all the bikes I've looked at so far the Yeti 575 has been my favorite.

Do ya'll think it will hold up?

With the interrupted top tube, not sure if it's clydes worthwhile. I seem to recall that there was max weight limit in the 220 lbs, but I could be mistaken.

    Call Yeti

I would recommend giving the boys at Yeti a call. This has come up numerous times on the Yeti forum. Although Yeti originally gave a thumbs up for us clydes to hammer the 575 (I was one of the first with an XL 575), my understanding is that they no longer recommend it.

yeah, i think i've heard the "suggested" weight limit is 220 or 230lbs. you probably won't run in to problems if you limit your drops to 2 feet or less, but if something does happen, you might have problems with them honoring the warranty. if you call them i bet they move you towards the ASX, which is also a killer bike.
"Pops trippin', he want me to ask for my bike back. You know I wouldn't trip."
