Any Big Boys Running A Carbon Fiber Fork?

    Hey Guys,

I like the idea of the weight saving carbon fork, but being over 300 lbs. would I picking carbon fiber splinters out of my ass very soon after installing one? And do they really offer a bit of "suspension"?

Thanks in advance for entertaining my questions!

Apparently Niner forks don't have a weight limit. Probably your best bet.

Fwiw, at my heaviest I was 270 and have been riding a WB carbon fork on my 29er for the past two years with no problem. With gear, at times, I'm sure I was pushing close to 300.

As mentioned already, though, Niner lists no weight limit whereas WB specs their's at 210(?).

Just giving you options. Check out Whisky Parts Whisky Parts Co. | Hard-Working Bike Parts for Hard-Working People

They're cheaper than the NINER forks and don't have a weight limit as far I remember.
