    6'4" 280lbs...Full suspension ??

    Im looking at a used Cannondale Prophet 4. My question is will my weight bottom out the suspension thats on the bike. I never had full suspension before so i dont know anything about it. and as for the bike itself it any good ? Im a TREK guy so i dont know much about Cannondale's. Is it worth 500 bux

    Just like the front fork, the rear shock will have to have the proper spring weight to support your weight. If it's an air shock then it shouldn't be a problem to pump it up high enough to support you, if it's a coil shock then you may need to buy a new spring.

    I don't know anything about that particular bike, so I can't offer any opinion as far as that goes, sorry.

    BTW - I'm the same height and weight and rode an air sprung XC full suspension until recently. Good choice on going with a more AM orientated bike..
