265lb clyde purchased Azonic outlaws for xc frame. Whats the minimum Width I can run?

also Tubeless recommendations, I'm gonna convert soon
I would ride big but the LBS said I'd I have frame clearance issues and I don't know how big I can go with that. (true to size issues, max width, etc)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have looked all over google for the past week and couldn't find anything other then outlaws are too heavy blah blah blah. I'm a big boy I dont care about weight. Any help will be met with +rep

The general rule of thumb is no less than the outside width of your rims, which would be about 1.25"; way less than you'd ever run. Unless your frame was from the 80s, it probably has clearance for a 2.1-2.2" tire even on those rims, and most forks have way more clearance than most frames.

Someone probably has the same frame as you and might have something to offer on what tires fit.

Tubeless, I can't help, though stans and a tire designed for it seems like a safe bet.
