2003 Brodie Brute Frame (X-post in Canadian Bikes)

Anyone have any experiences good or bad with this bike frame? I'm bout 200 pounds and need a fairly durable frame as I ride fairly aggressive, nothing huge, like under 4 foot drops, the occasional jump, but nothing crazy, hope I can get some help, thanks,

The Brute should do you nice.

I've been on a Brodie Kinetic xc bike for 3 years now - just bought a ss-specific frame to replace it - and it held up to me (200+) just fine.

They make beefy stuff - if you do a lot of jumps, go for one of the burly line frames, like the Brute.

But my Kinetic has been great for aggressive trail riding, and small drops, etc.. No dents, no cracks, etc. Plus it's fast. Don't necessarily discount one of the more xc-oriented frames just because you're a clyde.

I'm just looking at the brute cause I found a decent deal on just the frame and wanted to know if it was decent or not. Thanks,
