Pictures of 1Up Single and Double racks on 5th Gen 4Runner and Lexus GX460 Please

I'm cross shopping a new 5th gen 4Runner Limited or a used Lexus GX460 (2012-2015). I'll be switching from roof mounted bike racks to a hitch rack. I know both cars can take a 1Up or Thule T2 Pro, but I'm wondering if I could leave a single 1Up rack on the back in the up position, and still access the trunk.

It's not a deciding factor, but it would be a plus if possible.

The image is from the www of a double. It looks like a single might open fine. The GX has a barn door, and I think it'll not clear.

Great pic. Very helpful. Really shows the spacing with the car and rear hatch. Is that the second generation, Quick Rack?

If you don't mind me asking, how far does the rack stick out from the hitch?

I donít have a picture, but I do have a 2016 Trail Edition and a 1-Up rack. I leave the single on and it clears the hatch easily when in the up position. Also, I have the sliding tray I can slide it out and sit on it to get geared up with the single rack in place. Works great!
