    DIY rack needs final touches

This is the custom bike rack I have so far. Not sure where to go from here. I'm at a stand still on how to lock down the bikes. I would like to develop an arms that would swing up and lock the wheels down. This is a 2 bike rack and I'm looking for some ideas, or input on something someone has tried or an idea I may try. The rack is super solid so far, I would love to dial it in before the season hits. I'm open to the idea of straps too, as long as its clean and easy to loop and secure. The rack has adjustable cages for the wheels and 2 vertical steels posts that a strap can loop through. The bikes I will be hauling are 29er Scalpels
    Thanks!

Make something that grabs the crank/pedal to hold it down. Looks good!
