    Wall Street Journal Article

Shared with me, and I thought I would pass along. Always good to see 'mainstream' coverage!

Nice article. I had shopped for years for mine. They're pricey out here in Hawaii (shipping kills us). I bounced back and forth between Yuba, Surly and even Trek. I just couldn't justify the cost as I already had a great "commuter" in my old Klein. Finally though, I lucked out and found a Trek Transport here, locally from a guy who moved here from Phoenix. He said it is too hilly here. Bad for him, great for me. I measured the bike's weight at 56lb. It's a pig but serves its purpose. I get a great work out, I'm never in a rush anyway to get to and from work. It hauls all kinds of stuff. No matter how windy or rainy here, the time on the Trek is great! I've called it the SUV of bikes for some time now.
