    Creating a Maintenance Trailer out of a Childs Trail-A-Bike

    Hey all;

    I am unsure where I saw one, but it sparked an idea. I would like to convert my son's Trek Trail-A-Bike into a tool trailer for trail maintenance.

    Does anyone have one already they could share pics and idea with me?

    I was thinking Cutting off the Seat and welding a Custom Rack system on it that I can put a Chainsaw in one side (Bar Down) and have a trough and brackets for a Rake and a Polaski in the other. I was thinking for stability to tie it into the handle bar post, (I would cut off the Handle bars where the post hits the bars) and have a basket up there for a small fuel can for the saw, extra blades, and a water cooler.

    Again, I saw someone made one, I just can't for the life of me find the photo.

    My father is a retired welder, he will be performing all the welding. I'm in charge of the designs.

    any help would be awesome.

    I'd start by throwing a rack and panniers on it. Maybe some broom clips on the top of the handlebars would keep the tools in place, but I'd throw some arno straps around them for insurance.
