Over the weekend while I was out shopping I came out of one of the stores and tried to put the bike on the center stand. I noticed that it seemed to wobble a bit so I thought I was on an uneven surface. When I moved the bike to locate a bit of a level surface a small part fell from under the bike. It was a part that goes to the center stand. Causing it to shift quite a bit and not hold the bike like it's supposed to. I picked up the piece, took it home, and checked things out. I have not, as yet, completely removed the stand as I am awaiting a replacement from my LBS and TREK. TREK said that this is covered under the warranty and replacement isn't going to be a problem. But I wanted to let the other owners out there know about this so that they might be able to check it and get it fixed/replaced BEFORE it completely breaks.
TREK and my LBS have been a HUGE help in getting this issue taken care of!!!!!
