Will the 2010 StumpJumper frame fit on a thule helium ?

    Hi Guys,

I'm tired of taking my front wheel off to get my bike in the car so I've decided to go for a hitch-mounted rack solution. I'm specifically shopping for the thule helium:

My only concern is that the stumpjumper has sort of an interesting frame design with the shock location. Has anyone loaded a 2010 stumpjumper on the hanging type of hitch mount? or know anyone who does without issues?

    Thanks!

Hmm interesting thread. It almost seems better to go with the 917XT T2. That way I wouldn't have to worry about the frame design of any bike on the rack at all. It's a little more $$$$$ up front, but maybe it doesn't matter. What are your thoughts on the 917XT T2?

    great rack...or the yakima 2434 holdup 1 1/4".
    both are excellent racks.
here is our blog post on the racks....keep in mind that the thule now comes with all the locks you need, while the yakima does not come with the hitchlock.
and, this was written for the 2" models.
