Swagman Jacknife 4 or NSR 4?

I like both equally well. Both will do what I want. My question is do you think the Swagman will have more wind resistance then the NSR being it sits perpendicular to the vehicle where the NSR sits parallel?

    What are your concerns?
Both are nice racks (I own a NSR). But neither would be the epitome of streamlined.
I went NSR for a few factors. But the key factor was 4-bike carrying capability that would not have a huge overhang on my Jeep.

I went NSR 4 because of the simplicity and weight. I take the rack off a few times a week and is considerably lighter than the Jackknife.

What type of vehicle do you have? I have a 4runner and wonder how far above the roof the wheels would be?

I drive a 2009 Acura MDX and the bikes can clear 6'8 garages. Looks like there is an adjustment to lower the rack a foot by using the lower pivot hole. I have not tried it myself.

A quick Google search shows quite a few NSR and vehicles:

On a 4-Runner, the tires will clear the top of the vehicle (w/ the NSR).
For some reference, here it is loaded on my JK Wrangler...

I can open about 18", but the rack does not clear the spare completely.
