    Question for Xport Flatbed owners

Have you had any issues with top tube brake routing and the rack arm?

For some reason I'm picturing that arm crushing the brake hose while I'm driving. Is that even possible?

    No, not crushing...

... but it does contribute to wear in the powder coat of your frame. There is enough cush on the rack's hook to not crush anything. The cables with dirt under them can grind back and forth a tiny amount, leaving marks on your frame. This sorta happens without the rack anyway, but the rack accelerates the process.

I push my cables off to the side when I stick my bikes in the rack. No biggie.

Yeah, I figured it would contribute to scratches. I'm OK with that.

I'll have to see if I can move the hose at all... there's not a lot of play on my frame (3 braze ons on the top tube).

    Thanks!
