    NSR 6 Bike rack question

Hey all I am wanting to get North Shores 6 bike rack but wanted to see if any has experience with it? I have a 2011 Toyota 4Runner and wonder if the weight of 6 bikes and gear will cause the truck to sag much?
Also I have done a search and come across a place called rat racks. I have emailed for info but no one has responded...any thoughts?

The Rat Rack is cool but they don't ship and they are a pain to load. You have to pick it up in Calgary and its spendy. The 6 NSR is a bit much for a 4 runner IMO. It will sag pretty good but it will work. Id stick to a 4 bike. Make sure you have a 500lb tongue weight hitch on your 4 runner though if you decide on a 6. My buddy makes custom racks for 1/2 the price.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking the 6 bike would be quite heavy for the 4 runner. That's a nice rack (lol). What does your friend sell them for and will he ship? The other option is a 4 bike swagman.

He charges $350-$500 depending on 3, 4, 5, or 6 bikes. It doesn't fold up or anything, but it works awesome.

Do you have any pictures of it without bikes loaded? What does it weigh? How many pieces?
