What is the differences between the sherpa and NV core? I see the sherpa has further spacing between bikes and the sherpa weighs less. Is one aluminum? Also looking at Saris thelma.

most folks on this forum are going to get better value from the NV Core than the Sherpa.

i love my Kuat NV with the trail doc - it is heavy at 50 lbs, but well built and the built in lock is great.

I love my NV but it does get heavy when you add the additional 2 bike add-on.

NV all the way. Best rack out there, and the customer service at Kuat is the best.
