    It's rare but, this is one downside to the hitch rack...

    my sons bike had the same happen while it was on a friends car, worked out well though as we had already ordered a new bike for him (bigger), and then the insurance paid us more for the bike than we paid for it , we purchased it 2nd hand for $300 and they gave us $550


    thats a pretty hard shunt by the looks of it
    always mad and usually drunk......

    Yeah, but if that happens to you semi-frequently you got much bigger problems than what kind of rack you use.
