    Honda crosstour

Man, there are forums for everything....does anybody fit their bike into the back of a cross tour? I need a new car & need to fit bike inside due to commute/after work rides, but would rather not disassemble to store. Any experience?

Maybe take off front wheel? I ride an xc 29er so it takes space

I can get a L 29er in there with a bit of finesse (no wheels removed). The way I do it is aim the back wheel toward the corner of one of the shock towers and the floor. Once you get the wheel past it, aim toward the passenger door. You have to point the front of the front wheel up to get the handlebars to clear the hatch opening. Takes some practice... Put a blanket on the sides of the hatch openings the 1st few times and watch the handlebars on the hatch door.

I can carry two 29er's with the front wheel removed on one of them. I do that when driving longer distances in the rain or to reduce chances of theft.

I have a 2010 4wd w/ Nav that I installed a factory hitch on and bought a Kuat NV Rack to carry 2 bikes as well.
