    Fat in a Fit

So I just got a Honda Fit...pick it up in a week...excited! Just wanted to know if anyone has stuffed a bike (or two) in the back of one. It looks to me as if would work quite well.

Yeah, two bikes (with front wheels removed) will fit in the car - you'll have to drop the rear seats.

I did this over last spring and summer but finally bought a Kuat Sherpa hitch rack. ps - Adding a hitch is super easy with a rotary tool.

Good, that's what I thought. I am amazed at the amount of space in the Fit.

Yeah, they are bigger inside than out.

I have a friend who is into pinball. He restores and collects pinball machines. Once, he got an entire pinball machine in his car with the legs and score headboard taken off. He still had room for his passenger. ....And gets 40 mpg!

I have a 1 1/4" Drawtite hitch and the stock rubber floormats if you want them. Make me an offer and they are yours. I also have a custom 1 1/4" hitch extension to 2" to raise up a bike rack.

Did you used to have a Fit and don't need these things anymore?

My wife was hit and the 2013 FIT was totaled. They are almost brand new as they were only in the car a few months.

I really loved the Fit. We just upgraded to a CRV.
