Exursion..room for multiple bikes inside, but who makes a rack to stand them on?

Room is not the issue inside the Excursion, but solving the riddle of how to store multiple bikes inside without the frames rubbing or handlebars locking into each other like a bullfight is getting tiring and is not the neatest approach.

Does anyone know of a rack that we can store 4-6 bikes on sans front wheels that is made for use inside the truck? Or has anyone cobbled together something that looks decent and works?

A bunch of fork mounts on a 2x6 turned at an angle so the bars nest. If necessary do three each in opposite directions.

Yup - this is the way to do it.

I used plywood with a matrix of holes to mount the fork-mounts at different angles. This is for a Mitsubishi SUV rental in Utah.

Thanks guys. Tried the boards before but it never seemed to work out as everyone's bikes are different.

Birdman I didn't think of the hole matrix to accommodate different bikes and sizes. Might have to try that.

    Appreciate the input
