Does your bike prefer it's ride clean or dirty?

First off, I wanted to make this thread a poll...but I don't know how So you'll just have to show your vote with a picture

Anyways, I normally never wash my truck, although the inside is always spotless, I use it too much. This week it's seen 2 loads of mulch, 1 load of firewood, bikes (duh), random garden tools and statues, and 2 loads of scrap. But today I washed it before I went on a quick ride. It normally spends quite a bit of it's time muddy. And I normally like it that way. So do you wash your bike hauler regularly? Get it muddy and keep it muddy? Just don't wash it for certain reasons? or what?

My answer is I'll wash it a few times each summer if I have family coming in town or am going on a date or something, but otherwise it sits as I use it.

So here is my truck after a long day of hauling horse manure, firewood, and playing in the muddy snow last year.

And here it is today, after it's first wash in about 8 months (I found some manure smears behind the cab still ) shiny

Just finally picked up a bike off craigslist. Its a haro hardtail(dunno the actual model). Sorry for the crappy iphone pic. Here is what it will be hauled in. Don't wash cause it's a Subaru not a show car. It will be muddy come this fall. It's getting a 1" lift with general grabbers. Hopefully I can eventually get a roof rack so it can be shown off properly. Get better pics tomorrow in the day light when I go out for a ride.
