    Anybody using Saris Sentinel?

So I bought a Sentinel 2, as the Bones' strap-downs wasn't long enough to secure my my bike's top-tube...

Loving it so far, but noticed that the lower hooks have a tendency to pop off easily during driving, due to road undulations. (Yes, I did check and re-tension after loading the bikes). Has this happened to other users?

Probably gonna modify the rack by incorporating some metal cam buckles, hhm.

i would very careful with that carbon fiber rear deck.. The bike strap hooks will damage the deck and the weight of the bike with the rack combined will damage the finish and cabon laminate.. I woud return the rack and look for hitch and a light weight bike tray or remove wheels and seatpost and place them in the trunk.

Hey man, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately the return policy is quite crappy in my part of the world..

In any case, my car's sorta a beater. Seems ok so far, but will continue to moniter in the meantime.
