    1up wheel lock

I had just ordered a 1up rack earlier today to replace my wrecked Kuat NV, and noticed the wheel locks now on the site. I always envisioned something like this due to the holes in the arms, but planned on using a cable lock i had laying around for those instances i might leave the bike unattended for a bit.

After doing some thinking, seems the wheel lock would only be beneficial to secure a front wheel when the frame/rear wheel are cabled up but the cable cant reach the front. All youd need to do is release the wheel(s) and snatch the frame if thats all you used with out a cable, correct?
Havent had any hands on time in person with a 1up, just wondering what some current owners thoughts are as to the wheel locks benefits.

You're right in thinking about how the rack works. If you lock the wheels, all you'd need to do is remove the skewer and then open up the arms, taking the wheel with the rack and leaving the frame free.

To retain the bike itself, you'd need to secure the frame to the rack.
