1up quick rack 2 bike users: I am trying to find a specific measurement.

I am trying to find out the height from the top inside surface of the 1.25" hitch to the top of the horizontal portion of the rack with when in the folded upright position (preferably the height with just the base unit and the height with the add on). I have a hitch rack now (thule t2) that blocks the trunk, lights and license plate completely on a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Any measurements and pictures would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.......

101 views and no responses ?? It seems like these racks have such a strong following that people are always willing to provide information about them. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Well, I don't have a tape here, only an engineer's pocket rod. And my spare tire precludes getting a real measurement, but I eyeball it about 1.6 feet tall from the top of the 1.25 hitch. For what it's worth...

    Solution!

Here is the measurement with the add-on rack and the yardstick sitting on the tongue that is inserted in receiver and tightened down. I think this should provide the measurement you are looking for.
