    weight of 03 jekyll 800?

    does anyone know how heavy it is stock? and how what upgrade should i start with to get the maximum weight savings while increasing performance. sorry for all the questions as i'm new to all this stuff. thanks

    Do you already have it?

    If so, weigh it. It will hover in the 29lb range stock. What performance benifits are you looking for outside of its stock configuration? Are you simply looking to shed weight? What is your budget for upgrades?

    My 2003 Jekyll 1000 weighed 29.8 stock at the store.

    i guess i want to make it faster and lighter. and my budget for upgrades id $500. will that amount make any significant imprevement?
