Warranty replacement for Caffeine - what current frame can I expect?

I am getting a warranty replacement for a Caffeine frame - what current frame can I expect? The Trail frames strike me a cheep, but AFAICS the BB will swap over fine, whereas the Flash frames look more equivalent, but have the BB30. Any ideas?

    26" or 29" frame?

    The warranty replacement for my '08 F29er 2 frame was a '10 Alloy Flash 29 1 frame.

    It's a 26".

Got a nasty feeling it'll be a 'Trail'. Would that be short changing me?

Have the shop ask the Cannondale rep what the replacement frame would be. If it's not the one you want, then ask how much it would cost to "upgrade" to the frame you want. I know plenty of people who have gone that route.

In my opinion, yes you would be short changed. I'd request a Flash alloy frame.

Thanks everyone. Got my replacement today (only 12 days after I put the bike in the shop), they gave me another Caffeine! I was kinda surprised, but at least I don't have to worry whether it is better or worse. Must be one of the last USA made frames...
