Vintage Lover.....Let me see your stuff!

    Hi All,

This is my maiden post. Im a vintage cannondale lover. Still in the search for more. Im from Singapore. Recently built up a Killer V900 and a Delta V2000 which have been modified in terms of colour. It kinda difficult to find a use frame of my size here in Singapore mainly Large.

both bikes are very nice. i like white tyres + frame and also spinergy gives the extra coolness factor to SVA. It still looks like it is latest design hi-tech model of today

    96' Cannondale F700

Here's my 96' Cannondale F700 converted to ss duty. Tthe Coda cantilever brakes, front wheel, cranks and Ritchey pedals are still going strong. I still have the Coda XYZ bar ends that came with it in the parts bin. DD50 Headshock with lockout still works great.

Here's mine, I love her so much, but the rim was recently broke while my friend crashed on my rear wheel.... (in a paved bike park) and she's now resting in my store room....

This one is built about a year ago. Old model, mint frame. It's my dream bike when I was riding my Super V over ten years ago. Was going to put the MOTO120 on it but can't find a suitable brake, so have to give it up.

    Nice looking roadie!

Anyways a fellow cannondale lover have been beggin me for my killer V for the longest time and i decided to let it go to him so we can all share our love for cannondale vintages.

However, i have shifted some of the stuff over to my Delta V. This is my ultimate Delta V and awaiting the ol skool Magura Brakes....

As for my F3000SL. It now at the current stage. Just manage to grab an SL FSA wheelset too.... check it out!

Thank you for your generous comments. I'm staying in a double storey apartment. The sterile concept that you see was from my wife's brilliant colonial concept. My bikes just look nicer with this white background....

    1994(?) m500

I just picked this up from my neighbor about 5 minutes ago. Single speed convert project? I'm really impressed with the condition it's in. Vintage mt bikes, especially ones made in the U.S.A., are fun bikes!

Wow coincidence or what, I was just about to post about a 1993 M500 I'm picking up from a friend next week, not as nice as yours but I intend to strip and polish it. Great bikes, I once had an M700, wish I'd kept it. I don't suppose you know what the steerer diameter is? Also the seat post and BB size? I might need some parts and keen to get looking.

I don't know the part sizes (yet). I'm going to have a look later tonight (BB size) since I'm considering a SS project. I did find this website though that has all the old catalogs from Cannondale, including 1993 (click on the photo with the guy riding over the sand dune under "1993"): MOMBAT: Cannondale Bicycles History There tables with tech data in the catalogs.

Sheldon Brown (Google him) tends to have bike specs for older bikes as well as bikepedia.com, too.

    Post your bike!

This was a super easy conversion project! I still have to clean the bike up a bit and maybe outfit it with some new tires and definitely grips. Rides like a beast now!

I kept the original center chain ring (34 teeth) and coupled it with an 18 teeth rear cog. It gets up and goes! Of course I look like a madman pedaling on the flats, but the climbing is very manageable.

    SS project here as well....
36T front, 18T rear. Was able to get a NOS DD60 cartridge from Mendon for it as well (not pictured).
Only thing stock are the wheels, bb and cranks minus the chainring.
Wheels are pretty light but not tubeless, so of course I had a flat (snakebites) on my first ride.
I only take it for short rides after work (14miles max.) as this thing kicks my butt like a mule...

That's a great looking bike! That frame style puts it around 1993 or '94, right?

Thank you guys, I came across the "Myles" bike from my LBS, the owner is a friend of mine. The other works bike is the second version of the Fulcrum minus the dual BB and extra chains and sprockets... V.2 model I reckon. This one I've been chasing since '09, slipped out of my grasp, then a year and a half later I found it and bought it! It was an awesome chase! I'd sell a kidney or a lung before I'd part with a piece of Cannondale history! additional pics... enjoy!
